Three Design Types For Diverse Filter Processing Applications

Every industrial fluid filtration process can have its own unique requirements: specific viscosities, chemical compatibilities, and operating temperatures, to name a few.

Our ISOPur process engineers will aid you in selecting the right IFTProcess™ filter elements for your industrial filtration equipment:

  • For demanding temperature ranges (-100°F to 500°F / -73°C to 260°C),
    high viscosities, or chemical compatibility challenges, we specify Stainless Steel Crimped Industrial Process Filter Elements. These stainless steel cartridges are available in cylindrical wrap or pleated filter designs.
  • For higher dirt loading capacities and lower pressure drops, we frequently recommend IFTProcess™ Pleated Epoxy-Bonded Micro-Fiberglass Industrial Process Filter Elements. In addition to superior performance over traditional string-wound or resin process filter elements, the IFTProcess Micro-Fiberglass Filter Elements feature an integral spring, eliminating the traditional spring-and-cup design that can fall into the filter housing during filter replacement.
  • For true depth filtration, 1 to 100 micron ratings, and FDA compliance for beverage and food contact, Melt Blown Filter Cartridges are economical filters for high efficiency filtration. Maximum operating temperature is 155°F for polypropylene filter elements and 300°F for nylon. Available with filter cores or coreless.
